Debian 6.0.3 problem sa rezolucijom ekrana

Instalirao sam Debian na laptop i super radi LXDE na 64 MB RAM-a, medjutim imam problem s xrandr. Naime, nece da mi prihvati novu rezoluciju. Evo sta mi izbaci:

Rezolucija je max 1024x768x16@60

P.S. Zna li neko gdje mogu vidjeti koje mi sve dependencije trebaju za XFCE? Imaju u pool-u 4.3.90 i 4.4 verzije, jer 4.6. sam probao i sporo radi, dakle treba vise RAM-a za njega.

Pa jesi li ukucao tu grešku u google? Ima milion hitova sa korisnim savjetima.

jesam, ali niko konkretno nije rijesio problem. Jedino mi jos pada na pamet da natjeram rezoluciju da se “primi” preko Xorg -configure. Navodno nije prepoznao tip monitora. Inace debian+lxde radi super na ovoj krntiji sa 64 mb ram, da mi je jos nekako provjeriti koliko prostora jos imam slobodno, posto bih htio instalirati xfce 4.3.90 iz debian poola i gst pluginove (2 GB je HDD i 150 MB sam uzeo za swapa)

Pošalji:

  • izlaz naredbe xrandr (bez parametara)
  • izlaz naredbe lspci | grep VGA
  • fajl /var/log/Xorg.0.log
  • fajl /etc/X11/xorg.conf ako postoji
    Preporučujem da koristiš naki pastebin za ovo zadnje dvoje.

BTW po onome što sam mogao pročitati --newmode komanda je trebala odraditi što treba bez obzira na error. Prema tome nastavi sa --addmode komandom pa sa --mode komandom pa prijavi da li to ispiše još nekih grešaka osim gamma.

xrandr mi govori da je max rezolucija 800x600. Probao sam s ubacivanjem Modeline i Modes u xorg.conf te DefaultDepth 16, ali nista. Sve isto. Probao sam s trident prebaciti na vesa ali samo sam dobio razmuljanu sliku. Inace osim debiana sam probao i slitaz, ali i kod njega ne mogu napraviti rezoluciju, pa sam odustao. Kod slackware sam to napravio s lakocom preko xorgconfig, ali razlog zasto ovo sve isprobavam je da stari Slackware do 12.x verzije nema hal i dbus. Sve USB stickove koje ustekam moram rucno mountovati i to je prilicna gnjavaza kad to cesto radis.

Ovo mi zvuci kao rjesenje. Hvala puno ovo cu probati. Ova dva lika imaju jako, jako slicne laptope kao kod mene, s tim sto je kod ovog prvog isti kao kod mene, jedino je razlika sto je kod mene CD ROM, kod njega DVD ROM.
Sto se tice memorije graficke, ne moze se mijenjati, jer nema takve opcije u biosu.

Da ne otvaram novu temu, uzeo sam PCMCIA wireless karticu za ovu Toshibu. Kartica pici na Windowsima, ali bih htio da uradim debian netinstall. Nakon sto instaliram base system na disk, interesuje me kako cu da konfigurisem ovu karticu preko komandne linije kako bih mogao svuci potrebne pakete. Znaci situacija je slijedeca: linux ne prepoznaje ovu karticu. Probao sam da ucitam prism2 orinoco driver, ali nista. Slitaz kaze sa iwconfig: no wireless devices, a lspci ocita PCMCIA portove ali ne i karticu koja je prikljucena na njega. Cuo sam za ndiswrapper, ali da li ga mogu koristiti u konzoli bez X-a? Nadam se da je neko imao slican slucaj.
Laptop je Toshiba 4090XCDT, 400 MHz Mendocino CPU, 64MB RAM i 2GB HDD, a PCMCIA kartica je T Sinus 111.

Hvala ti nidla, a hvala i vedranu. Rezoluciju sam napravio, sve radi normala. Dakle, to je s linka na kome lik je dao HorizSync i VertRefresh za Toshibu 4090XDVD i to je bilo rjesenje problema. Sad mi radi i na Debianu i na Slitazu i rezolucija je konacno 1024x768.
Sad WLAN-kartica je prepoznata…izgleda. Snimio sam linux-wlan-ng, ndiswrapper, wireless-tools i network-manager. Instalaciju sam odradio s Sony Vaio laptopa koji ima LAN karticu, a debian mu prepozna i wireless, tako da je sve islo brzo i glatko. Snimio sam Xfce4, LXDE i openbox da se nadju, a za ne povjerovati - XFCE4 mi sada radi brze nego kada ga instaliram s CD-a sa LXDEom i XFCEom (varijanta CD1 s ovim DE-ima). Mozda je zato sto sam sad stavio swap. Ali nema veze, sada jos ostaje samo PCMCIA WLAN kartica.

Evo sta kaze iwconfig:

Ali kartica i dalje ne svijetli, tj ne svijetle Activity i PWR indikatori, dok se oni na XP-u pale na boot-u samog OS-a. No mozda tako i treba. Istaknem karticu: No wireless extensions. Utaknem opet i iwconfig i pokaze mi kao sa slike da je nasao karticu. Sta dalje? Molim za pomoc.
Edit: zamijenio sam network-manager sa wicd i on pocne nesto da trazi i kaze da nema nadjenih mreza. Ako snimim ts111nic.inf driver od XP-a kaze mi ndiswrapper invalid driver. Kartica je bazirana na prism2.5 cipu i u debian wiki je ima na listi.
