Ovo baš zgodno, Ubuntu CD i knjiga koja ukratko govori kako ga koristiti – idealno za nove korisnike (mada korisno i za starije, također).
Smije li ULK ovo štampati i dijeliti ljudima?

Pa kakve onda fajde od toga? Ko očekuje da ljudi koji ne znaju ni šta je linux ni ubuntu nađu negdje nekakav pdf i printaju ga sebi? Kada napišu howto pod nekom free licencom nek se jave.
Ne vidim zasto bi bio problem nekome tko ne zna sta je linux i/ili ubuntu da nade i skine pdf fajl :\
Što bi ga printali? Jednostavno otvore, čitaju i primjenjuju.
Ne govorim o tome, nego kada te neko pita ima li negdje neki priručnik, jedna stvar je da mu kažeš “imaš na stranici xy jedan pdf fajl koji onda možeš čitati s monitora” a druga da mu odmah daš kopiju na papiru. Kako ćeš otvoriti pdf ako ne možeš da se konektuješ? ili ako ti je instalacija zaglavila upola? ili ako ti driveri za grafičku ne valjaju i dobijaš “crni ekran”?
Pa ne mora tako. Može se knjiga kopirati na CD i takvom novom korisniku dati uz CD sa Ubuntu-om tako da ne mora ganjati po Internetu. A ako dođe do crnih ekrana i problema sa driver-om, tada će svakako morati svratiti do foruma, imao knjigu ili ne imao 
Druga varijanta je da se organizuje prevođenje knjige i onda se štampa koliko hoće, mada je to vjerovatno teško izvodivo.
